Our Solution
To the left, you will spot a paper-drawn diagram of a Convoy™ vehicle. Behind the cool futuristic design of the product, multiple enhancements are working in the background to make this product work!
The first feature to be noted is the battery on the bottom of the truck. As shown in the image, our battery is under the Semi-trailer rather than the truck, meaning that trailers can be exchanged without any time needed to charge.
This 48ft x 8.5ft x 13.5ft sized trailer offers 408 square feet of space for the battery to go, allowing for a long-lasting and effective battery. The entirety of the semi-truck cabin is meant to house the large back-up battery and AI computer.
Finally, there are the Solar panels on the Semi-trailer. These do add about 600-1000 extra pounds of weight, resulting in faster battery consumption, but that is negligible to our 80,000lb typical weight and allows for our trucks to travel further distances.
